Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Hardware GOATs (the "Service"), operated by Hardware GOATs ("we", "us"). By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement.

The service

Hardware GOATs is a research and reference database that ranks NBA players by trophies, awards and accolades. Anyone may browse the top 100 ranked players for free. A paid membership ("Full Access") unlocks the complete ranking of 1,300+ players, the player comparison tool, custom award scoring weights and unrestricted filtering.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal business use within the plan you have selected. You must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to commit fraud or send spam;
• infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or penetration testing, or bypassing technical access limits;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download or otherwise systematically extract the rankings data, or resell, redistribute or republish it;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.

Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service, including the software, the compiled rankings database, the scoring methodology, documentation and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property to you.

Service level and warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data will be complete or free of inaccuracies. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Payment, subscriptions and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing frequency, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Memberships renew automatically at the interval you selected (monthly or annual) until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use rules above. When your access ends you lose entry to member-only features; you may request an export of any personal data we hold before deletion.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these terms.

General

• You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them on a merger or acquisition.
• Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hardware GOATs is established, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
